This course is specifically designed for non-seafarers who may be required to travel on vessels or boats.
The trainee will be given a general oversight of area’s concerning sea safety, basic first aid, the basic elements of fire, awareness of navigation aid, emergency radio communication measures, the operation of an outboard motor engine and the safety measures associated with it.
The knowledge and understanding enables the trainee to be aware and prepared for emergencies that may arise during the voyage.
