This training will provide the participants with the knowledge and understanding for those who would be in the supervisory level, to understand and apply strategic management principles to ensure vessel(s) operate to established quality management principles to comply with statutory requirements. Participants will be enlightened on the basics of marine engines and ship construction and the essentials of condition based maintenance, schedule maintenance and corrective or breakdown maintenance. The training will be further enhanced with understanding and applying cost effective measure and to the operational cost of operating a vessel which covers, procurement cost, inventory management and cost control procedures.
