The PMTC is endeavored to extend its training by offering Deck Rating Grade 1 course, which complies in principle with the mandatory minimum requirements for certification of ratings forming part of a navigational watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more as specified in section A-II/4 of STCW Code including 2010 Manila Amendments.
The training course has been tailored by Pacific Maritime Training College (PMTC) into a series of courses that suit the PNG Shipping Industry.
